Our scientists donned their safety googles and reviewed safety rules. They had containers of baking soda, vinegar and plastic cups. Each child tried combining the materials on their own tray and made discoveries. What is happening? We learned this is called a chemical reaction. What happens with more baking soda? What about more vinegar? What do you observe with your senses? Try adding some paint. How does that change the reaction? What happens after the reaction?
